Unfortunately, I have to take back my tip from 2018! I wanted to go to Almstadl with my wife today to eat. I sent everything back...I've never had such food anywhere before and it's expensive too...I think they're new tenants...Never again Almstadl!!!...it would be smarter to stop off at Lore (inn) straight after.

On the other side, the route goes mostly on asphalt and with not so much direct "contact" with the lake back to the starting point.

in 5 minutes you have run down from the road to the lake. it is the only place on the east side where you can easily and quickly get water without a long descent. Enjoy this wonderful place! From mid-day until late afternoon in the sun on the rocks - just great!

If you drive along the eastern side from the north, you will find a dirt track from the road to the right down to the lake: it's best to leave your bikes up.
