Thanks to a lucky rug, I found this wonderful spot. The shelter 'BÅSTAFORSEN' is located on a promontory at Storfärden in the village of Marma. It is only accessible on foot or by bike.

The locks are usually opened on the second Sunday in June, which draws a lot of spectators.

Harnäs village has some early 19th century buildings which were erected for the Harnäs iron mill. The original mill closed in 1911 but the pulp mill nearby remains an important regional employer.

Place 89 is at the top and has a view and long sun. The new pitches for tents are not recommended at the moment. They are a bit far from the service building, the ground is grassless and the road is relatively easy to hear. So better look for a place upstairs with the mobile homes.

Nice spot with wood for campfire

You have a clear view of the Baltic Sea and the approach is not too far .. The house is enough for 5-6 people when it rains - it is cozy. But please take the rubbish with you, unfortunately not everyone does.
