When you get to the railway you can't turn right as shown on the route because it goes through private land. The only route out is to turn left up to the road at 4GVM+RJ, 8400 Estômbar, Portugal

Pleasant view and the beginning of a fabulous descent to the famous iron fountain

Unfortunately, there's no way past the railway! All paths end in the hole down there! The route itself is nice, though!

On the Cerro de São Miguel there is now a large swing with a great view.

Because crossmotor bikers have also discovered this trail, the surface is hollowed out lengthwise, unfortunately, making it unsafer.
