This small lagoon is located in the heart of the dehesa (pastureland), surrounded by holm oaks and cork oaks, serving as a true natural oasis within the characteristic landscape of the Sierra Norte. It is a popular spot for hiking trails, offering a place to rest in the shade and enjoy the peaceful, rural surroundings.

Large suburban wetlands park with wild natural sections, and an excellent nature center. A smooth paved trails runs along the road on the northern border, while an even more scenic hard gravel trail, with a long boardwalk, lures a few meters further south, with quaint overnight tent sites.

The Parque del Alamillo is a beautiful park located on the Isla de la Cartuja in. This park, with an area of 120 hectares, was created in 1993 on the occasion of the 1992 World Exhibition. The park has a Mediterranean vegetation and is surrounded by two lakes, the Lago Mayor and the Lago Menor. There are playgrounds, cycle and walking paths, water sports facilities such as canoeing and water skiing, and even a little train that runs through the park.

Built on the bed of the Retortillo river, this reservoir is located between the Sierra Norte de Sevilla natural park and the Sierra de Hornachuelos natural park, which in turn form part of the Sierra Morena massif.

Too bad, the lake is completely fenced in and can only be entered via the canoe club. All around only fields and country lanes...

In the middle of the meadow dotted with cork oaks and holm oaks is this small lagoon like an oasis in the desert. Take the opportunity to make a quiet stop and eat something in the shade of the trees.

If you come towards La Puebla - Lora, the views from the road are beautiful. I think that with low capacity there are areas of the reservoir that can be explored
