Great ride between Killin and Kenmore. Road was good but a real rollercoaster! Very few flat areas but beautiful none the less. Also, stopped for a bowl of soup at the Ferryman, which was excellent.

Benarty Hill at 1,167 feet (356 m) is but a small mound in Scotland, and it is a relatively straight-forward hill walk to get to its trig pointed top, but it is huge in rewards with stunning views down over Loch Leven. The best way up is from the south, where you will have a short, steep climb up through the trees to get to the summit plateau and the trig point. The best way back is simply to retrace your steps. This has simply got to be one of Scotland’s underrated hills.

The loch northside road offers, in places, excellent scenic views over the loch and valley. Don't forget to visit the southside single-lane road for an even more scenic and quiet cycle.

Can be very windy here as the wind races across the loch. There are a couple of large boulders in the southwest corner to hide behind especially when taking refreshments..

A scenic destination target with great views over the valley below. Can be very windy; the loch sits in a wind funnel. There are a few large boulders to hide behind for a break. The main hikers' path up is 'improved' and has a fine gravel surface which is excellent but alas includes many sets of boulder steps. Fine when heading down but horrible when heading up.

The narrowish road runs along the south side of the loch making for a scenic tour albeit watch out for speeding cars. Plenty of spots to stop and take in the views. There's a visitor centre (entrance fee) at the south-west corner of the Loch. External toilets don't require access to the visitor centre proper.

Nestled below the slopes of Craig More and Deuchary Hill, Mill Dam is a pleasant little lochan. It forms the approximate halfway point on the Atholl Woods circuit from Dunkeld. The shore makes for an ideal picnic spot, whether you're heading back down to the village or continuing to a summit or the nearby Loch Ordie.

Loch Earn, is a picturesque freshwater loch in Scotland's Stirling council area, spanning about 17 kilometres. The loch has an unusual "tidal" system, called a Seiche. This is caused by the prevailing winds blowing wind down the valley, resulting in a build up of water at one end of the Loch. Other lakes, such as the much larger Lake Geneva, and Lake Garda also are homes to this phenomena.

This path follows the former railway line, from Lochearnhead to St. Fillans. The path is a mellow one, winding through grassy terrain, with old railway bridges and embankments dotted along the way. Covering just over 11km, the walk also includes peaceful sections through Derry Wood and Glentarken Wood. You'll be treated to lovely views of the surrounding hills and the stunning Loch Earn. And in St. Fillans, be sure to explore the historic railway station buildings.
