Fantastic canyon with amazing views all along, but steep at the beginning of you go upstream. big volume tires recommended. several good camping spots on the way. can be done on both sides of the river, although the East bank seems ruff and less maintained for cycling.

After the severe earthquake in Armenia in 1988, Kerkorian made 200 million US dollars available for reconstruction, which, among other things, enabled the trade route from Iran via Armenia to the Georgian Black Sea coast to be restored.
