A beautiful village with a large, free parking lot on the outskirts of town. Many cycling and hiking tours can be started from here. The cycling paths around Ellmau are well signposted.

Imposing church. The church tower can be seen from afar, and it's the symbol of Ellmau.

On clear days, an impressive view of the Kaiser Mountains with their striking rock formations opens up. Particularly striking are the Ellmauer Halt, the highest peak of the massif, and the elegant Ackerlspitz, which blends into the mountain silhouette further east.
