Entrance to the monastery

The spot is ideal for a quiet night outside with the opportunity to swim. You can tell that this is a little oasis for local residents, because there is a sign saying that you should keep the place clean - a rarity here! We also spoke to local residents who said that camping there is absolutely fine as long as you take your rubbish with you. :)

This somewhat worn but nice to walk asphalt road connects the two train stations Ostrog and Dabovici. It leads past many abandoned houses and a cemetery. We only met one taxi (early August evening).

From the monastery you have a gigantic view of the bay from the sea.

If it's a bit later and less busy you can drive to the upper parking lot.

It is really worth visiting all year round. A mystical atmosphere on site. Beautiful tesserae pictures line the walls. A magnificent view of the valley from above. Visit very worthwhile.

From the church you have a wonderful view of the valley. At the entrance you can buy small things.
