Europa-Park in Rust is Germany's largest theme park and one of the most popular in Europe. Going down was a pleasure, going up was not so much fun because of the heavy traffic.

Even though you had to ride downhill here on the Schwarzwald Super!, I would only do it as a climb. Riding at high speed on gravel/sand isn't fun on a road bike, especially since the path is very narrow.

A great climb from Hinterzarten – or a descent there. Challenging, with fantastic views every now and then. And at the top, you know: this is what the Black Forest smells like.

Visually a highlight of old architecture

For me, this has always been one of the most beautiful climbs in the Black Forest. Crisp, idyllic, and essentially car-free.
