In the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps, the wild and romantic Griessbach meanders through the gorge of the same name into the valley. Along the stream, you can walk through the gorge on beautiful hiking trails, narrow wooden walkways and also over suspension bridges. Rock formations, waterfalls and shallower sections alternate. A real gem, absolutely recommended.

Very beautiful gorge with 3 different circular routes. There is something for everyone. Can only recommend it.

Impressive waterfall in great surroundings

You get to see some really great nature here, which you can really enjoy thanks to the wooden paths. A small warning: the path is not continuous, so it is not suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.

Wonderful hike on hot days for children of all ages. The (round) length is 3 / 6 / 10 km, which can be easily adapted to the age. There is a lot to discover. The footbridges are very well secured and you can always climb down to the pools. After about 2.5 km the gorge opens up and the many gravel and sand banks invite you to play and have a snack. If you are in the area, you should not miss the Griesbachklamm. Although it has (almost) no steep side walls, it has been lovingly designed with wooden walkways and suspension bridges. However, you should keep small children under your supervision, as the wooden walkways to the water are not secured with railings or anything similar.

The Eifersbach waterfall can only be reached via the hiking trail. It is located in the middle of the forest and the water falls from an impressive height. You can take beautiful photos from the bridge.
