The town of Revere is perfect for a lunch break. You can also see the Po Museum in the Palazzo Ducale which tells the story of the river, the people, the animals and the work carried out in these territories (http://reveremuseodelpo.it/). Before there was a castle in the square but now only the tower remains.

From Ostiglia, one of the most important Roman roads, the Via Claudia Augusta, ran north. In Trento, the eastern branch of the Via Claudia (from Venice) joined. The road then led over the Reschen and Fern Passes to the capital of the province of Raetia, "Augusta Vindelicorum" – today's Augsburg.
