キルクリーニー近郊の緑豊かな景観に隠されたこの壮大な新石器時代のポータル墓は、アイルランドの先史時代の建築の最もエレガントな例の1つです。最大のドルメンの巨大な天蓋石は、驚くべき精度で支え石の上にバランスを保っており、5,000年以上にわたって周囲の畑を見守ってきました。そのすぐ隣には、より小さな2番目のドルメンがあり、この場所を特別な考古学的アンサンブルにしています。

Take the grassy path to the left of the church to visit Kilclooney Dolmen. It is on private land so please make sure you close the gate on entry and exit and respect the megalithic burial chamber and surrounding land. It is largely intact and stands at nearly 2m high making it particularly impressive.

Another beautiful stretch of coastal road between Rosbeg and Tramore Beach. There are a few grassy knolls you could sit on if the tide is in. This is a quiet corner of Donegal so take a moment to breathe it all in.

As the road hugs the coast at Rosbeg Beach, you're in for a treat. The rugged coast gives you a lot to look at and admire, especially if the tide is out.
