Stadtpark West, Rheinfelden With stately trees, a spacious promenade and direct access to the old town for walks, Stadtpark West is a popular retreat. A local recreation area with a large playground and lawns. It borders directly on the Rhine promenade, from where you can hike or walk towards the new Rheinfelden hydroelectric power station. From the city park it is just a stone's throw to the stork's nest tower, through which you can enter Rheinfelden's old town. The park is also home to the charming “Stadtpark/ Gottesackerkapelle”. The Talweiher nature reserve is a small, untouched natural paradise next to the north-south route. Here you can watch birds and beavers and even have a barbecue at the rest area at the southern end.
