It's worth taking the steep climb - you have to get into the red area sometimes.

Was used militarily in GDR times for flight surveillance. Some legacies are still there, e.g. the huge garage doors.

coming up from Arnsberg you can take the steep climb but it's hard to find. At the top you will be rewarded with a spectacular 360° panoramic view. It's best to take the road down.
