The Gumpen Cascades are a series of natural waterfalls and pools (called "Gumpen") that meander like steps through a narrow, rocky valley. The crystal-clear water cascades over smooth rocks, collecting in turquoise-green pools, and creating a wildly romantic natural spectacle. The splashing and rushing sound is particularly refreshing on hot days – you can briefly dip your hands or feet into the ice-cold water, or, if you're feeling brave, even lie down in one of the pools to cool off on hot days.

It is particularly attractive when there is a large amount of water after the snow melts. The water flows from one pool to the next. Simply wonderful for taking a break and letting your mind wander.
