At this point, you exit the D9 and follow the road which runs along the Canal de Bourgogne. This cycle path is very long and famous. There are several places to picnic along the canal.

The Lodges du Canal De Bourgogne are unusual accommodations along the Canal. A cabin boat, a lock keeper's house and several wooden houses on stilts. The Burgundy Canal connects the Yonne to the Saône. It crosses picturesque landscapes of Burgundy. It is also a crossing of the history of this region with these monuments which run along it. The towpath all along the canal has been converted into a pedestrian and cycle path. It allows you to ride in peace and fresh air!
