Sleeping in Burgdorf Castle? Yes, it's possible, and you can do so in the youth hostel. It's actually located in the castle itself! The rooms within the old walls have been skillfully designed in a modern style, creating a cozy atmosphere. There are various room sizes (double, family, four-, and six-bed rooms), a restaurant, and as a guest, you can even visit the castle museum for free. Jegenstorf Castle is a baroque castle in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, built in the 18th century on the foundations of a medieval moated castle. Even if you don't immediately notice it in the small, pretty green, mossy house that seems to be half-sunk into the ground, it is, or rather "it was" the forerunner of today's refrigerator. Burgdorf Castle is a nice destination for a picnic with a perfect view of Burgdorf, but you have to work for the view first!
