Tour de Rondeを訪れたい場合は、まず回転台でCHF.2.-（2026年現在）の少額の料金を料金箱に支払う必要があります。そうして初めて、ロッドが回転し、城塞へのアクセスが許可されます。塔は土台から頂上まで25メートルの高さがあります。20メートルの高さには、360°の展望プラットフォームがあります。上への道は、交互に色付けされた照明のある螺旋階段を通っています。背景には効果音が鳴り響き、全体に雰囲気のあるタッチを加えています。しかし注意してください！プラットフォームまでの最後の区間は非常に狭いため、肩が壁に横向きに触れます。閉所恐怖症の人はここで限界に達するでしょう。ただし、プラットフォーム自体は、2人がすれ違うのに十分なスペースを提供しています。オルブ平野の景色は、天気が良く澄んでいる場合は、まさに目の保養です。モンブラン山塊さえも肉眼で見ることができます。しかし、特に印象的なのは、旧市街の屋根と路地を見下ろす眺めです。プラットフォームでの滞在時間に制限はありません。

On the Schlossplatz, only 2 of the original 5 towers remain today. The square one served as a watchtower, the round one functioned as a keep.

The Tour Ronde in Orbe is a historic tower dating back to 1233 and is part of the old castle of the city. This tower offers a breathtaking 360° view over the rooftops of Orbe, the Jura mountains and the Alps12. From the top of the tower you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding landscapes, including the vast plain of the Orbe and the vineyards of the Côtes de l’Orbe.

The horse museum in the outbuildings shows horse-drawn vehicles and highlights the role of the horse and harness in warfare, in the circus, in hunting with greyhounds, etc.

This castle is located in a park above the village and dates back to the 11th century. It was renovated in the 15th and 16th centuries. In front of the living area with two round corner turrets there are two heavy square towers with aisles.
