The large and, in some cases, meter-high sandstone cliffs in the Fleischackerloch date back to the Bunter Sandstone period and are approximately 200 million years old." The award-winning trail is 17 km long and features the impressive Elendsklamm Gorge as its highlight. It's a prime example of what the power of water has created in the Palatinate Mountains. The tour is well worth it!
