At this point, "dam cycling" is the order of the day. The dam regulates any flooding of the Cellina River and is approximately 5 meters high. The width at the dam is about that of a car and has one or two rutted tracks. Cycling side by side is not recommended due to the risk of slipping, so for me it's an easy, flat single trail. From the dam, there are views to the right and left of the expansive Magredi.

Clauzetto rightly calls itself the "balcony of Friuli." I know many places with sweeping views of Friuli, and the "round horizon" is best seen from Clauzetto. The church tower on the hill also makes a perfect backdrop. Access can be gained via narrow and steep alleys, some of which are paved with cobblestones, or via a somewhat wider main road. The cultural, natural, and historical ambiance makes Clauzetto unique.

The stone houses with wooden balconies, arches, and porticoes create an atmosphere of modest intimacy that blends well with the surrounding landscape. It's a place worth planning a longer stay. Cycling through is far too fast; walking through allows you to see and appreciate much more. World-class!
