シュラット・ハースレンの峠・トップ19

ホーエン・カステンから下りてくると、ビュルツェルアルペへの道がどこにあるかの案内がなくなります。 下の方に牛が飲むための浴槽が見えます。それが最初の目印です。そこから道ははっきりと見えます。 地元の人に聞いたところ、この道はもう手入れされておらず、地図にも載っていないとのことでした。標識もありませんでした。 しかし、谷まで道ははっきりと分かりました。そしてKomootアプリを使えば、道は明らかでした。 最後はきついです。1,200メートルの下りの後、下で約200メートルの急な登りを駐車場まで登らなければなりません。しかも真昼の太陽の下で。これは汗をかくというだけでなく、5時間以上経ってから再び全力を出す必要があります。 しかし、それも乗り越えられます😎

Great climb to the Fänerenspitze

The Resspass 1,309 m is a drivable crossing between Brülisau (Alpstein) and the Forstseeli (Rheintal).

From here it is another 15-20 minutes up to the Hoher Kasten... From here you can descend towards the Ruhesitz via two paths, directly and steeper or a little further around the Kamor

I could imagine visiting here again when the fog is gone. We suspect that there is a nice view here.

Kastensattel 1678 m AI / SG Appenzell Innerrhoden, St. Gallen The Kastensattel is a mountain pass at the foot of the Hoher Kasten. It lies directly on the cantonal border of Appenzell Innerrhoden and St. Gallen at an altitude of 1678 meters above sea level. A mountain hiking trail runs over the saddle from Brülisau in Appenzellerland eastwards to Rüthi in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. From the Kastensattel it is only a twenty-minute hike up to the summit of the Hoher Kasten (1794m above sea level), where you can get something to eat and enjoy the beautiful panorama. From the crossing, however, there are many other hiking destinations to choose from. Mountain hiking trails lead to Plattenbödeli (1h10min) with the Sämtisersee, to Bollenwees (2h15min) with the Fälensee or to Montlinger Schwamm (1h20min), where there are mountain inns.
