ツェルネツの滝・トップ4

The Ducan Falls at the end of the side valley is a tourist attraction, as you can take a bus to the Walserhuus, and from there it's only a short hike. The waterfall is beautiful to look at, and you can walk to the impact zone to admire it.

A fun dirt road route that, after crossing the Acqua del Gallo stream (toward Alpe del Gallo), becomes a single track in the upper part of the remote and rocky valley of Lake Livigno. The single track is also easy to ride uphill. Some exposed sections.

Beautiful, mostly lonely alpine pasture on the way down to the Val Gallo.

Depending on the time of year and the amount of water, crossing the waterfall can be a challenge. In any case, you must be sure-footed on the wet ground.

pretty dangerous, no safety equipment and it goes down steeply. A real challenge with heavy e-bikes. There was quite a lot of water today and if you push the bike outside and walk up against the wall, you'll get completely soaked by the waterfall. So it's definitely not "rideable" at the moment, even with a bio-bike

I was there in June 2024 and couldn't cross the waterfall. On the one hand, the part was no longer secured/supported and on the other hand, the amount of water was so great that the risk of being swept away was too great for me. We then drove through the tunnel to Livigno (after turning back). There, the shuttle driver said that the pass would no longer be repaired because it was considered too dangerous. (I can't judge whether this is true) In any case, I would avoid the Gallo Pass as long as the snow melts.

The river has its headwaters at Piz Sampuoir, Piz Plavna Dadaint and Piz Laschadurella and flows through Val Sampuoir into the Inn.
