The Klingnau Power Plant (KRA) is a run-of-river power plant built between two banks of the Aare, between the Aargau communities of Klingnau and Koblenz. The plant was built between 1931 and 1935 about 400m above the confluence of the Aare and the Rhine.

The first construction work was carried out in 1938. The run-of-river power station was put into operation in 1941. It is possible to travel across by bike 👍.
