The castle has been the setting for several fairy tale films. The filming of the films "Six Come Through the World" (1971), "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella" (1972) and the 1989 Cinderella film adaptation took place here. In 2004 it served as the setting for the romantic comedy "A Princess to Fall in Love With".
