Great Trail

The Constitution Trail is a 37-mile system of paved multi-use trails that follows the old Illinois Central Gulf Railroad right of way through the communities of Bloomington and Normal.

Tipton Park South is a 50-acre park that is primarily prairie and two bodies of water. There are 2 miles of paved trails within the park and the park has access to the Constitution Trail to the south.

Tipton Lake, not to be confused with the smaller Tipton Pond that is directly to the west of this lake, is one of two bodies of water within Tipton Park South. The park was designed ecologically to filter urban storm water runoff and this is the larger of the two bodies of water.

Tipton Pond is one of two small bodies of water within Tipton Park South. This pond is known as a good fishing spot and can be seen from a paved path that encircles the pond.
