Great wooden bridge 🤩. But be careful, it's still busy in places.

The Carolinenturm on the Kötsch is a very popular destination. It is one of the three towers of the Thuringian Three Towers hiking trail and also a stamping point for Touringen (No. 345). From here you have a great view and perspective. The rest areas and benches around the Carolinenturm invite you to linger. Absolutely worth it!👍

The listed bridge is 43 meters long, three meters wide and has a headroom of 3.05 meters. The bridge is still passable. The design comes from Weimar building officer Carl Friedrich Christian Steiner.

Very idyllic place in Buchfarth. Buchfart is a small community near the city of Weimar. From the name one can conclude that it is a settlement built in a small beech forest, built at a ford.
