Finally caught an open day, rustic entrance and repeckt to the local club and the sprightly gentlemen at the entrance. The exhibition in both towers and the view from the west tower are great.

There's something sublime about a castle like that. The many centuries that have already seen such a building and the many people who have already enjoyed looking at it makes you a little awestruck. Hopefully these buildings will be preserved for a long time.
