Well maintained park with beautiful sunset and lots of dogs. This is the real New Zealand vibe. Lots of open space for walking, running, socializing and exercising. Clean, wide paths and bridges. Playground for the kids, view of the harbor and the dogs love swimming in the lagoon. Lots of other dogs with friendly owners, plenty of parking. It's lovely here, enjoy the morning and evening walks. Wheelchair accessible!

The steep trail is covered by grey-black basalt scoria, dirt and gravel, and is slippery in places. Hence for the best experience during the descent, concentration and care are advised especially in windy conditions.
