The Werra Valley Cycle Path is a beautiful, idyllic cycle path that is mostly very easy to ride.

The Rennsteig cycle path is quite unspectacular in some places ‼️

The Rennsteig cycle path often runs a little off the original hiking and ridge path. It can also be ridden on a trekking bike. At 195km, it is slightly longer than the hiking path, but is mostly gravel.

We have already cycled on many cycle paths and for us the Werra cycle path is one of the most beautiful.

This beautiful bridge connects the castle park over the Werra with the ascending paths in the forest, for example to the Diezhäuschen lookout point.
