The Blitzenreuter Lake District has been known as an ecologically valuable area for many years. As early as 1924, the central raised bog core and its non-peat-drained surroundings were protected as a protected forest. In 1937, other parts of the area were designated as a nature reserve (Dornacher Ried with Häckler Ried, Häcklerweiher and Buchsee). Very attractive even in winter.

Very nice theme park in the area of the clinic and thermal baths. There are wooden walkways between the ponds. There are ducks, koi, grey herons and even a beaver den.

The spa garden in Bad Saulgau stretches between the Sonnenhof thermal baths and the pond at the "Schönes Moos", where it merges into the open countryside. On an area of around 1 hectare, visitors experience a diverse garden that is divided into several garden themes and rooms. Large pond on the way

Great Baggesee with an incredibly beautiful turquoise color. A dream landscape. There is a large lawn for sunbathing and fine sand for children to play in.

It is a wonderful tour to cycle around the quarry lake. You can see the beautiful color of the water from all sides. The swimming area with sand for the little ones to play in is also completely idyllic. A large lawn invites you to sunbathe or take a break. Absolutely recommendable this visit.
