During my hike up Lookout Mountain, I passed the impressive New York State Monument, located on Cravens Terrace in the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. Point Park is a popular spot on Lookout Mountain for the views of Moccasin Bend and the historical buildings within the park. The New York Peace Monument is also located in the park, which is a symbol of reconstruction after the Civil War.
