Pedestrian wooden bridge that has some steps, leading onto narrow but mostly quite residential roads into the forest.

Some segments along Bohemian Highway have trail options, but not for long. There are many access points to get to the creek for a break.

Bohemian Highway winds along the shaded creekside. There is not much shoulder, but this segment is short, then there are again options to hop on trails up into the hills.

The recreated western town now houses restaurants, a General Store, and various smaller boutiques.

Willow Creek Fire Road is perhaps one of the greatest gravel roads for biking in the area. Whether you are looking to rip on a gravel bike or just cruise on your hard tail, this road fits the bill for just about any rider. There are numerous trail and road intersections where you can turn and loop back, or you can just do an out and back from either end. Note that while this is a smooth gravel road, it's completely closed to car traffic, so you'll be the fastest thing on the trail.

This trail runs along the edge of the Petaluma River wetlands and is a popular multi-use trail, so keep an eye out for others on the trail. The wetlands are an important area for wildlife, and are currently undergoing habitat restoration to improve conditions for native plants & animals.

Housing the Visitor Info Center and the Chamber of Commerce, the Carlile house was built circa 1880, one of the oldest buildings in Novato. The home was part of Marin County's first efforts at sub-developing the original project included 5 homes, four of which are still occupied to this day.
