The imposing castle on the Dordogne River is noticeable from afar. It's a bit of a challenge to walk up the village to the castle, as the narrow streets are very steep.

Nice to arrive by the cycle path along the Dordogne after coming back down from Domme. Ideal early in the morning to avoid the crowds of families or tourists on the track. Then possibility to reach Roque-Gageac or Beynac afterwards (or Domme if done in the other direction).
