Entrance bridge to Castellón along the natural path of the Muga that has had to be rebuilt on several occasions due to heavy floods.

Nice small town with a lot of small bars to have a short stop for a Cortado or another soda. Avoid Wednesdays in the high season because of the local market then. Nice church to visit and a big bridge to cross the river La Fluvia. The village is accessible on any kind of bike.

Beautiful path through the fields and along the ranch. The part between the trees is a bit small but gives great shade during the hotter days. Be careful after heavy rain, it can be very slippery

A great gravel cycling path between Castello d’Empuries and Empuria Brava. Perfect to avoid all the main roads. Can be very busy during high season with other cyclists and runners

Nice and easy route, only the boulevard of Santa Margarita and Rosas is closed to cyclists since April 14, 2025 between 12:00 and 24:00 during the high season.

Busy town with plenty of local cafes and bars. Also a good base for local river activities and finding camping accommodation close to the beach.

One of the most beautiful cycling paths in this area. From the wetlands to the river to the apple orchards, crossing small bridges., this path has it all. Great quality gravel. Some parts are a little narrow so watch out for oncoming traffic.
