The Embalse del Amadorio between Villajoyosa and Orcheta is an attractive destination for cyclists, just four kilometers as the crow flies from the Mediterranean Sea. Spectacular views of the clear, turquoise water shimmer in the sunlight, while the surrounding mountains are picturesquely reflected in it, open up again and again around the reservoir. The paths are well-maintained, partly paved bike paths, partly quiet back roads, and invite you to take a relaxing ride.
