This is a great off-road climb, steep in parts, and unlike some photos not at all wet in peak summer.

What used to be a muddy bridleway following the route of the old Roman road has now been upgraded to a wide, tarmacked cycleway connecting Cambridge and Landbeach. Quiet and straight with just the occasional dog walker so you can ride at full pace. Connects at the southern end to the busway cycleway.
