An interesting coastal path on the cycle paths, a little less so on the road returning from Le Lavandou (fortunately, few cars today). However, the section along the coast near the salt marshes follows a road closed by a gate; the alternative is to walk along the beach, but this path is prohibited for cyclists (only doable out of season, and/or in bad weather, which means you'll encounter few pedestrians).

A beautiful climb (relatively easy <7%) is rewarded with a magnificent view up here.

You can follow the entire route of the old Train des Pignes by bike, along the V65: 260 kilometers between Sanary-sur-Mer and Nice. This segment along the coast is particularly beautiful.

From the salt marshes of Hyères, a perfectly surfaced cycle path leads to the Gien peninsula. A beautiful ride alternating between salt marshes, beaches and other coastal landscapes.

The view of the Bay of Cavalaire from the paths around Le Peinier is a true jewel of the Côte d'Azur. Overlooking the sea, these paths offer an exceptional panorama of the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean and the golden beaches of Cavalaire. Surrounded by maritime pines and Mediterranean vegetation, the paths wind through a typically Provençal landscape.

This small port with typical Provençal charm attracts pétanque players and vacationers for its peaceful setting. The boats dock on the Rubaud, a small coastal river which flows into the Mediterranean.
