An interesting section of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route. The bridge is a real eye-catcher. And the tour along the Ruhr meadows is simply wonderful.

if you are going upwards you can get a bit tired but if Ur going downhill you can just release the bike and it goes itself

The cakes are simply delicious here. Many families with children were there because there's a playground and plenty of scooters and go-karts.

A lovely place to pause for a moment on the Ruhr Valley Trail. Just before the railway bridge, you have a fantastic view of the Ruhr meadows and the nature reserve.
