The parking lot was relatively full, as there's so much to do at this hotspot. A swimming lake, a barbecue hut with restrooms, and a shower house. The mountain bike trail, and so on... Parking is permitted on the shoulder of the main road in both directions, which was very convenient for us with our Sprinter van.

Great MTB trails for beginners. If you feel comfortable after one round on the blue trails, just try a red trail segment. They are short and cross the blue trails again soon.

Remstrup Å is a beautiful and tranquil river that flows through Silkeborg, offering a perfect setting for a relaxing break.

This small bridge offers stunning views over the water.

The newly renovated Østre Søbad is beautifully located by Almindsø in Silkeborg. In addition to the lake bath, you will find, among other things, a mobile sales van with light snacks, a sauna, changing facilities and a popular sandy beach.
