In August 2025, the road was easy to navigate, partially sheltered from the wind, and much more pleasant and safer than the country road!

A very large church, at least for the village. The congregation members apparently come from the surrounding area. The war graves in the eastern part of the cemetery are impressive; here lie sailors from the Battle of Jutland and Australian pilots. Their Lancaster was shot down by a German night fighter just north of here near Stadil.

A popular destination for anglers who enjoy fishing directly from the bridge in the Vonå River. The approximately 6 km long Vonå River connects Stadil Fjord with Ringkøbing Fjord.

Take Nr. Fjandvej to the small harbor. From there, you have a fantastic view of Nissum Fjord and Fjandø (a bird sanctuary island). Nørgaard Fisk og Røgeri is always worth a visit. They have very tasty fish sandwiches. Excellent smoked and fresh fish.
