The Restaurant Raten is highly recommended: The atmosphere is lovely and cozy, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious. It has a large parking lot, which is also a good starting point for hikes. Parking is subject to a fee daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The oldest evidence of the Zug pilgrimage to Einsiedeln dates from July 31, 1426. It stipulates that it is the duty of the parish priest of Zug to lead a procession to Einsiedeln every year on Ascension Day. This tradition has existed since ancient times.
