Even in rough weather, the ships "land" gently in the wide opening of the Limfjord and have calmer water through the harbour heads. Sailing is weather independent and ensures stable operations.

Ferring Sø is an inland lake that lies directly on the North Sea. It couldn't be more beautiful. A beautiful, rugged part of Denmark's west coast. The lake is only separated from the sea by a narrow sand dike. A complete circuit is about 9km.
