There wasn't much to see today.

The playground in the wildlife enclosure is particularly busy on weekends – no wonder, as the newly redesigned playground attracts many families. It's not uncommon to discover all sorts of things along the paved path or have to share the trail with others. Hiking groups, in particular, like to use the entire width of the path in the Schönbuch to enjoy a pleasant conversation while walking. During the week, however, the route is much quieter and offers a beautiful, shady passage through the Schönbuch – ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy nature in a relaxed atmosphere.

Great area in idyllic surroundings 🤩

A pretty, shady route along the Goldersbach stream. It slopes gently toward Bebenhausen, allowing you to pick up a decent pace—assuming there are no hikers along the way. The gentle incline (~1-2%) in the opposite direction is pleasant. The gravel is also manageable with slicks, as it's now quite compacted and fine. You just have to be careful of the deep potholes. Then, without side knobs, it gets a bit tricky to change the line from one side to the other. Is this a highlight for road bikers? It's at least one of the finest trails in the Schönbuch and therefore the most suitable. However, it's more fun with gravel or CX bikes.

A must-see, the staff there are always friendly and answer all questions about the area.
