On June 7, 1222, the Antonite Monastery in Tempzin was founded as a hospital by Heinrich Borwin I, his wife Adelheid, and his sons from his first marriage, Heinrich Borwin II and Nikolaus II. The church is a three-aisled country house of enormous proportions, something one would hardly expect in the flat countryside.
