The Aukrug Nature Park is a 380 square kilometer nature park in the center of the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein in the Holstein region. From its founding until 2013, the park was run by a company formed by both districts, which transferred ownership to the Aukrug Nature Park Association in 2014.

This forest path offers three fords over streams and rivulets. When the water level is high, bikers and hikers can use a narrow bridge.

Several fords cross the wide gravel forest path in the Schierenwald. The small bridge is therefore very convenient for hikers.
