A very beautiful lake in the Tannheimer Valley. The lake can also be easily circumnavigated (the entry point is somewhat hidden on an inconspicuous road). However, the asphalt quickly turns into a fine gravel path. Doable for road bikes with careful riding – a Strade Bianche feeling.

The old pass road is truly beautiful, but also extremely steep and gravelly. The rocks on the downhill gravel bike were too slippery for me, so I had to push my bike for a bit on the steepest sections to avoid falling.
