On a clear day, you can see as far south as Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland. Looking east, you can clearly see the vineyards of Radebeul with the Spitzhaus (a historic building). Also to the east, you can see the large construction site of the new chip factory on the edge of the Dresden Heath, and on New Year's Eve, the fireworks in the city center.

Beautiful path, but whoever is responsible for the gutters is completely incompetent. It's life-threatening. Road cyclists, in particular, please be extremely careful.

The Zschonergrund Nature Reserve is an absolutely idyllic spot. Trees provide cooling shade, and the Pennricher Bach and Zschonergrundbach streams meander through the forest.
