Wasserburg am Inn (officially Wasserburg a.Inn) is a town in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim. It lies about 55 km east of the state capital Munich and about 25 km north of the district town of Rosenheim. It was the seat of the district court of Wasserburg a.Inn, from which the district court of Wasserburg am Inn and the district office, which later became the district office of Wasserburg a.Inn, emerged.

Special features The Marienplatz in Wasserburg a.Inn is one of the central squares in the small town on the Inn-Salzach, is ideal for strolling or drinking coffee and is a popular meeting place for cyclists and bikers.
