Ferdinand Filler's (creator of this sculpture) best-known public works are bridge sculptures such as the stone bearer on the Inn Bridge near Griesstätt, the raftsman on the Loisach Bridge near Grossweil, and the Wedekind Fountain in Munich-Schwabing.
