A very interesting and impressive building! The "Bücker Cathedral." The Evangelical Lutheran former collegiate church of St. Materniani et St. Nicolai in Bücken, popularly known as "Bücker Cathedral," is a Romanesque basilica with twin towers dating back to the 12th century. Legend of its founding: Monks who were to build the church and determine its location asked God for a sign. They wanted to build the church where the donkey they were bringing with them would "bend over" to feed. But when the animal wanted to settle in the "Wüsteney" (Wüsteney) (Helzendorf), they moved it further to the spot where the "Bücken" collegiate church stands today. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stiftskirche_St._Materniani_et_St._Nicolai

If you want to enjoy the view of the Weser from the bridge, you have to leave the Weser cycle path for a short time. Be careful when driving from the bridge back onto the busy route
