The parish church is a remarkable church for this small town. Originally probably late Gothic in the 15th century, the church has undergone alterations throughout the centuries. The most significant change to the interior was the Rococo period. A stop on your cycling or hiking tour is definitely recommended. From Dorfen to Velden, 116 km. Excellently developed. Old railway line.

This is a beautiful, slightly undulating route with little traffic on immaculate asphalt. There is a beautiful descent to Unterbierbach and at the edge of the village the beautiful St. Martin's Church appears on the hill. It is a very pleasant sight.

For centuries, the moated castle has shaped the image and history of Taufkirchen an der Vils, an Upper Bavarian community in the eastern district of Erding. When and by whom the castle was originally built is not known. Traces of a seat of power in this place can be traced back to the Middle Ages. When you cycle towards the mountain and the view finally becomes clear after the summit with the water reservoir: it's like a curtain is opening. Mountain with its church, behind it the castle tower of Hague and behind it the Alps. You just have to enjoy it!
